Jospeh Geierman, Council Members Gerald Evans, Warren Simmons, Stephe Koontz, Maria T.. Alexander, and Christopher. Henshaw were present. Council Member Andy Yeoman was absent. III. APPROVAL OF MEETING AGENDA Council Member Alexander made ai motion, a second was made by Council Member Evans, to approve the agenda as submitted. The motion carried unanimously (5-0) AYES/ YES: Evans, Simmons, Alexander, Koontz, and Henshaw NAYS/NO: None ABSTAIN: None IV. OLD BUSINESS 1. Adopt a Resolution to Authorize the Mayor to Enter into an Intergoyernmental Agreement with DeKalb County and Other Municipalities Wholly Within the County Council Member Alexander made a motion, a second was made by Council Member Henshaw, to adopt a resolution to authorize the Mayor to enter into and Intergovernmentar Agreement with DeKalb County and other municipalities wholly within the county Agreeing as to the Distribution of SPLOST II Funds agreeing as to the distribution of SPLOST II funds. The motion carried unanimously (5-0). AYES/ YES: Evans, Simmons, Alexander, Koontz, and Henshaw NAYS/NO: None ABSTAIN: None 2. Adoption of a Resolution for the Continued Suspension of the Homestead Option Sales and Use Tax; to Reimpose a One Percent (1%) Special Purpose Local Option Sales and Use Tax; Specify the Purposes for Which the Proceeds of Such Sales Taxes are to be Used; Request for the Election Superintendent to Call an Election of the Voters of the City of Doraville to Approve the Reimposition of Such Sales and Use Taxes; Approve the Form of Ballot Questions to be Used in Said Election; and for Council Member Alexander made ai motion, a second was made by Council Member Henshaw, to adopt ai resolution for the continued suspension oft the Homestead Option Sales and Use Tax; to reimpose a one percent (1%) Special Purpose Option Sales and Use Other Purposes.
