Demorest Park Committee Meeting Minutes  ATTENDEES  Mark Musselwhite Jerry Harkness  John Hendrix Donnie Bennett Lynn Percy  Keith Andrews Megan Chastain  The May 3, 2023, Demorest Park Committee Meeting was held in the Demorest Municipal Building  located at 125 Ivy Street. John led the group in prayer. AGENDAI ITEM: 2: CALL1 TO ORDER The meeting was called to order at 6:03 p.m. AGENDAI ITEM 3: APPROVAL OF AGENDA  AGENDA ITEM: 1: INVOCATION AND PLEDGE TO THEF FLAG  AI motion to approve the agenda as presented was made by Donnie and was seconded by Jerry. ACTION: The motion to approve the agenda as presented was unanimously approved (6-0). A motion to approve the minutes as presented was made by Jerry and was seconded by ACTION: The motion to approve the APRIL MINUTES was unanimously approved (6-0). AGENDAI ITEM 5: PUBLIC RESTROOM CONSTRUCTION does UPDATE not have time with all of his current and upcoming projects andi is recommending Mark. Mark would like to take ont the role beingt committee will allow. There was a short restroom update which included a discussion about brick and the email received from Fred on May 2, 2023 (see attached email). The email did not availability attachments he referenced. Jerry will follow up on the email. The park committee decided to include the fountain at al later date. Ar motion to appoint Mark as the GC was made by Donnie and was  AGENDA ITEM 4: APPROVAL OF APRIL MINUTES  Keith.  Bryan is stepping down from being the GCI because he  of  the GCifthe  park discuss thei seconded by Lynn.
