On November 21, 2023, City Staff received a written withdrawal request from the applicant. Per Sec. 23-1607, a request for withdrawal that is received in writing from an applicant prior to the publishing of the agenda for first City Council public hearing meets the criteria of the ordinance. Council Member Yeoman recused himself due to litigation with company Council Member Alexander made a motion to approve the purchase agreement from Musco Light purchases for Honeysuckle Park. Purchase of Surveillance Vehicle Chuck Atkinson, Police Chief presented the item. Council discussed the following concerns: with recent break-ins, whether the surveillance vehicle be able to fit into a parking garage. Council member Maria Alexander made a motion to purchase the surveillance vehicle as suggested by the Police Chief, Council Member Evans seconded the motion. A-23-12 - Consideration to approve an ordinance for a text amendment to amend Chapter 5 (Buildings and Regulations), Article V (Efficient Plumbing Fixtures) and Article XII (Landscaping and Planting Standards) to add language requested by the State (Metro Water Council Meeting Minutes December 18, 2023 District) in regard to water efficiency for plumbing and water fixtures.
