CITY OF  Cleveland GEORGIA  Cleveland City Council Called Meeting Minutes Tuesday,January 17,2023-5:00: P.M. Cleveland Community Center/Police Department 342 Campbell Street, Cleveland, GA  1. Call to Order  Mayor Turner called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m.  PRESENT:  Mayor. Josh Turner, Council Members Nan Bowen, Rebecca Yardley (Mayor Pro Tem), Also present were City Administrator Kevin Harris, City Attorney Keith Whitaker, and  Jeremy McClure, and C.J. McDonald  City Clerk Lisa Ritchie 2. Invocation  Council Member Bowen gave the invocation.  3. Pledge of Allegiance 4. Approve Agenda  Motion by Council Member Yardley, seconded by Council Member McClure, and  voted, unanimously, to approve the agenda.  NEW BUSINESS  5. ntergovernmenta. Agreement with White County for the conduct of the 2023  election  Mayor Turner introduced the ntergovernmenta. Agreement.  Ms. Ritchie stated that staff recommends approval of the intergovernmenta. with White County for the purpose of having White County Elections conduct the City's    election. She stated that the agreement defines the terms and responsibilities of both Motion by Council Member Yardley, seconded by Council Member McDonald and voted, unanimously, to approve the Intergovernmental Agreement with White 6. 2023-05 Qualifying Fees and Call for Election Amended Resolution  White County and the City of Cleveland.  County.  Mayor Turner introduced the 2023-05 Qualifying Fees and Call for Election Amended Resolution. He stated that the Resolution is the Call for a general election on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at The Bridge Church and to set  qualifying fees.  Ms. Ritchie stated that the original Resolution which was approved at the January 9, 2023 Council Meeting has been amended to allow for White County to conduct the Motion by Council Member Bowen, seconded by Council Member McClure and voted, unanimously, to approve the amended 2023-05 Qualifying Fees and Call for Election  City's election and to change the voting location for City Residents.
