CALL TO ORDERAND ROLL CALL OF MEMBERS:  Mayor Trey King called the June 6, 2024 Council Meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. and a roll call of the  members was taken. A quorum was present. PUBLICHEARING: Ratification of revisions to the Official Zoning Map oft the City of  Dacula  Motion to open the public hearing made by Councilmember Williams, Seconded by Councilmember Voting Yea: Councilmember Williams, Councilmember Spain, Councilmember Mitchell,  Spain.  Councilmember Haynes, Jr.  City Planner, Hayes Taylor, stated staffrecommends ratifying the current zoning map that reflects zoning actions since June 5, 2023. If ratified, the map will become the Official Map of the Corporate Limits of  the City ofl Dacula, Georgia. Ratification of revisions to the Official Zoning Map of the City of] Dacula  Motion to approve the ratification oft revisions to the zoning map made by Councilmember Mitchell, Voting Yea: Councilmember Williams, Councilmember Spain, Councilmember Mitchell,  Seconded by Councilmember Haynes, Jr.. PUBLICHEARING: Removal oft the Special Use Permit 2023-CD-SUP-01 at 245 McMillan Road for automotive sales lot and associated service facility use; and auto body repair use per Article XVII, Section 1706 of the Zoning Resolution. The property is located in Land Lot  302A, ofthe 5th District and contains 0.46 acres more or less.  Motion to open the public hearing made by Councilmember Haynes, Jr., Seconded by Councilmember Voting Yea: Councilmember Williams, Councilmember Spain, Councimember Mitchell,  Williams.  Councilmember Haynes, Jr.  City Administrator, Brittni Nix, explained the Special Use Permit process and gave al briefhistory on the current zoning for the subject property. Ms. Nix stated staff recommends removing the Special Use Permit for failure to comply with Section 17061 B.6 ofthe City's Zoning Resolution and amending  zoning condition 3 to remove mention of automobiles for sales.  No public comment Spain. Removal of Special Use Permit 2023-CD-SUP-01  Motion to approve the removal of Special Use Permit 2023-CD-SUP-01 and amend Condition #3 [listed below] made by Councilmember Williams, Seconded by Councilmember Spain. Voting Yea: Councilmember Williams, Councilmember Spain, Councilmember Mitchell,  Councilmember Haynes, Jr.  3. Outdoor storage shall only be allowed within the screened rear portion of the site. Outdoor storage includes, but not limited to, automobiles for service, junk vehicles vehicle parts, and machinery. All items must be located on a hard surface excluding contained gravel.  VIII. STAPFCOMMENIS:  None  IX. MAYORAND COUNCIL COMMENT/S):  None X.  PUBLICCOMMENT:  Karla Price, 415 McMillan Road, Dacula, GA 30019, expressed her concern regarding the safety of her and her neighbors that live near a vacant house along McMillan Road.
