Cleveland Community Center/Police Department 342 Campbell Street, Cleveland, GA  1. Call to Order  Mayor Turner called the meeting to order at 5:31 p.m.  PRESENT:  Mayor Josh Turner, Council Members Nan Bowen, Annie Sutton, Jeremy McClure Also, present were City Administrator Kevin Harris, City Attorney Keith Whitaker, and Motion by Council Member Sutton, seconded by Council Member Bowen, and voted, Motion by Council Member McClure, seconded by Council Member Bowen and voted,  (Mayor Pro Tem), and C.J. McDonald  City Clerk Lisa Ritchie  unanimously, to approve the agenda.  unanimously, to enter an Executive Session at 5:31 p.m.  EXECUTIVE SESSION  2. Discussion regarding Real Estate, Pending Litigation, and  Personnel  Motion by Council Member McClure, seconded by Council Member Sutton and voted, unanimously, to adjourn the Executive Session and return to the Called Meeting at Council Member McDonald opened the door to allow citizens to return to the regular Motion by Council Member McClure, seconded by Council Member Bowen and voted, unanimously, to approve and authorize City Administrator Kevin Harris to sign the  8:12 p.m. meeting.    Agreement and General Release as presented to the Mayor and Council in executive session, which Agreement resolves certain legal claims asserted by Connie Tracas against the City of Cleveland, includes mutual releases between the parties, provides confidentiality and mutual non-disparagement terms, and authorizes the payment of $53,000 to Ms. Tracas and under the city's insurance policy the city is responsible for Mayor Turner stated that, last year, Connie Tracas asserted certain legal claims against the City of Cleveland. The City denied and continues to deny any wrongdoing or liability in the matter. The claims asserted were turned over to the City's insurance for defense and coverage. The matter was resolved by a negotiated settlement between  a$10,000 deductible.  the parties.
