Steve Lawver said last Friday we received $139,000 of ARP money which Police Dept. report- - Gary Stubblefield said ai resident and her children had al bad experience at Memorial Park and would like was not the correct amount. Steve resubmitted our documentation and we will receive the additional money this Friday. Public Works report- - Jay Morton had nothing to report, tos see additional policing of the area. Court report No discussion COMMITTEE REPORTS Budget/Finance: Ladonna. Allen saidt there was a budget meeting earlier tonight where salaries were discussed. Shes said further research willl be done and another meeting wili needt to bel held. There was no actioni taken on salaries. Ladonna alsoi informed thel board the police department needs four new ballistic vests to replace expired vests, and both thej police department andj public works need new reflective vests. Gary Stubblefield: said Bill Stansberry's concerns from thej previous meeting have already been addressed. Mikel Burns asked why an ordinance didn'ti follow the public meeting earlier. Mike' Talley explained therei isa a 14 day waiting period to allow: for any objections tot the annexation process, and only after that 14 daysl has] passed can an ordinance be presentedt toi the Steve Lawver got quotes for replacing the shed at Frank Dean Sports Complex with containers, and the containers will cost between $3,300-$5,700 per container depending on the quality of the container. Mike Burns asked if there's anything that could be done to the containers to keep them safe.
