WORK SESSION OCTOBER 2, 2017 6:00 P.M. Commissioners Present: Commissioners Absent:  CEDARTOWN CITY COMMISSION  Jordan Hubbard, Chairman Larry Odom Andrew Carter Matt Foster Dale Tuck  Also Present:  Bill Fann, City Manager Carol Crawford, City Clerk  WORK SESSION CALLEDTO ORDER Chairman Hubbard called the Work Session to order. REVIEW OF DRAFT FILM DOCUMENTS  City Manager Bill Fann reviewed draft film documents for future dealings with film companies with the Commission. The film documents will be placed on the agenda for consideration at the  November Commission meeting.  DISCUSSION OF YORK PROPERTY WETLAND DETERMINATION City Manager Fann discussed with the Commission that the Corp of] Engineers has designated wetland locations on the 240 acres oft the York property. Environmentals were done with the Corblu Ecology Group. Both reports indicate that they felt like of the distinctions or designations for all identified wetlands or streams, only one stream is a ditch. Others were incorrectly identified, therefore, should not be subject to regulations for buffer variances. Nelson Engineering has determined that all wetlands were incorrectly designated and they will take the information to the Corp of Engineers and recommend that they be moved from the jurisdiction.  None ofthe wetlands are connected.  NAMING OF DOWNTOWN POCKET PARK the naming of the Downtown Pocket Park.  City Manager. Fann discussed with Commission Chairman Hubbard and Commissioner Odom  HR158 RESOLUTION Resolution.  The Commission discussed that there was no need for any further explanation of the HR158    ADJOURN  At 6:35 p.m., there being no further business for consideration, the Work Session adjourned.
