DELEGATE -] FORREST MCCOMBS - BLACK HISTORY FESTIVAL Forrest McCombs appeared before the Commission requesting the use oft the Turner Street Center and Park for the Black History Festival on Saturday, February 18, 2017.1 Mr. McCombs also requested blocking off. MANAGERS REPORT Aj pre-construction meeting for the CDBG sewer project was. held on January 31, 2017 with the contractor Site Engineering and City Engineer Ronnie Wood. Mobilization on the project is scheduled this week with construction to begin in the next 3 to 4 weeks and Department of Community Affairs Program Manager. Annaka Woodruff visited One Door Polk last month along with other DCA and ARC: representatives and all were very Our Georgia Initiative for Community Housing team will be in Albany on February 22nd and 23rd for the semi-annual meeting oft the GICH communities. This will be our next to last retreat as we will graduate the program next September. She had to brag on Lee Hayes. The Recreation Department and First Baptist played each other and it was a great experience. Recreation baseball and soccer sign-ups are going on Commissioner Foster thanked Forest McCombs and Harold Gipson and everyone that came out tonight. They are active in the community and great role models. Commissioner Odom commented on how great the artist rendition of] Big Springs is.
