Mayor Mark Powers called the meeting to order with the following present: Jim Gozia, Bob McAfee, Rick Flinn, Roger Spencer, Ladonna Allen. Gary Stubblefield, Mike! Burns and Mark Satterlee were absent. Also present were City Administrator Steve Lawver, City Attorney Mike Talley, City Clerk. Alaina Wright and City Administrator Assistant Crystal Winkfield. Elainel Brown- - 1241 Hedge Drive- - Her husband spoke earlier and she wants tol know what plans are ini the works ands says she was told last year there needed to be an engineering study. She says nobody answers phone calls or gives them any answers. Mark Johnson - 201 Ballard - He thinks the splashpad would be good but he says residents didn't) know what was going on until after the deal was done. LaDonna Allen motioned to accept Mayor Alaina Wright presented al list of all unpaid personal property taxes assessed prior to 2011 for at total of $4,988.48. Court report- No discussion COMMITTEE REPORTS Police Dept. report - Roger Spencer asked for an update on thei reports of vicious dogs and Mark McCall said the owners had been located. Budget/Finance: Ladonna Allen said the committeei met at 6:001 PM1 to discuss a contract with the Chamber ofCommerce. She said they willl have ai formal proposal for $10,000 before ther next council meeting. She said they also discussed options for ai new website that would be morei informative. Codel Nuisance: Rick Flinn had nothing toi report. Human Resources: Roger Spencer hadt nothing to report. Public Facilities & Planning: Mike Burns was absent. Senior Citizens: Gary Stubblefield was absent. UNFINISHED BUSINESS Mayor Powers asked ift there was any news on updating thei fields at Country Club Estates Park. Rick Flinn asked about engineering for thei intersection he expressed concerns about. He said there are three drainage pipes dumping into the same intersection.
