Senior Citizens: Richard Garrett reminded everyonei it'sl National Nutrition Month. UNFINISHED BUSINESS Steve Lawver said the traffic study is completed and there are draft copies in city hall. He said the results are. Fir Road needs tol bet three lanes and at some) point, Fir & Lone Elm needs as signal, and Briarbrook and Fir needs tol be ar roundabout. He also said Steve Lawver said the water study is complete. He said the results say we are ok on storage and capacity, even at peak flow. However, wel have an issue with fire flows. Steve said we have al lot oftwo- and four-inch lines and lines that aren't looped to balance out thes system. Steve Lawver said they have broken the work down into nine phases, andi it will be! $7.2 million worth of work. Steve said initially we had planned on using money from ARPA funds for the project but we are abandoning that plan. Steve said Kurt recommended setting aside an additional $300,000 per year to the water accrual account. Steve said he looked at the numbers and to raise that money would be ai rate increase of$0.75, not on the base rate, but on each additional thousand gallons of usage. This would take thej price from $3.59 to $4.34. LaDonna Allen said thisi is a way for the people who use the service to] pay fort the service. Steve Lawver said we: need to get several items on the ARPI list out for bid because oft the lead time on multiple projects. Steve Lawver said there is ai family that reached out about as small 60' x75' lot, not ai full lot.
