Buford City Commission  April11,2022  The regular monthly meeting was held on April 11,2 2022 at Buford City Arena and all Chairman Beard called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. and Mr. Burge led the Pledge of Motion by Mr. Weeks, seconded by Mr. Burge to approve the agenda for the April 11,  Commission members were present.  Allegiance.  2022 meeting as presented.  Ayes 3 Nays 0  Motion by Mr. Burge, seconded by Mr. Weeks to adopt the minutes from the March 7,2022  meeting as presented by staff.  Ayes 3 Nays 0 hearings. Rezonings:  Chairman Beard stated that this portion oft the meeting would be set aside for public  #Z-22-01: IDI Logistics requests rezoning for the property located at 2820 Gravel Springs Road from RA-200 to M-1. Motion by Mr. Burge, seconded by Mr. Weeks to  table the request until the next meeting. The special use permit requested is to allowa drive thru restaurant. Applicant was present. He stated they are proposing a 6000 square foot spec building with two (2) tenants. Ayes 3 Nays 0  Motion by Mr. Burge, seconded by Mr. Weeks to appoint voting delegates for 2022  Municipal Gas Authority of Georgia (MGAG) annual election.  Ayes 3 Nays 0  Motion by Mr. Weeks, seconded by Mr. Burge to authorize City Manager to enter into an agreement with Municipal Gas Authority of Georgia (MGAG) to acquire firm gas  capacity ini the 85 to Georgia project.  Ayes 3 Nays 0  Motion by Mr. Burge, seconded by Mr. Weeks to authorize Chairman and City Manager  to sign Year-End Settlement documents with MEAG Power.  Ayes 3 Nays 0  Motion by Mr. Burge, seconded by Mr. Weeks to approve purchase of properties located at 535 Copper Street (7-296-004) in the amount of $165,000, 525 Copper Street (7-296- 120) in the amount of $165,000, 515. Bona Road (7-296-004B): in the amount of $100,000, Copper Street at Forest Street (7-296-003B) in the amount of$120,000, mobile home (H7296M042) in the amount of $10,000 and mobile home (H7296M042): in the amount of $80,000 both located at 710 Forest Street and 560 Copper Street (7-296-118)  int the amount of $350,000.
