PUBLIC FORUM Jennifer Gozia, 601 Springhill Drive-She said she wanted to say thank you to the board of aldermen for the hours they put in Steve Lawver saidt there was a senior citizen committee meeting about changing the cleaning and deposit fees for the rooms at the Community Center and changing some wording in the agreement. Steve Lawver said he is working on updating those fees. Mayor Powers suggested there be a drawing made of where the senior center wants all thet tables and chairs to be. REPORTS Longt term Project report-Steve Lawver said they had pre-construction meeting this morning for the sidewalk project. He said Mayor Powers asked when thel Lakeside Park project would be moving forward. Steve Lawver said they are working on the LaDonna Allen asked about bids in for dirt work in Country Club Park. Steve Lawver said we received two bids and we're waiting on a third bid. Steve Lawver said the bids also included fencing for the dog park. The bids sO far for the dirt work are Steve Lawver said wer received bids for the roofa at] Public Works. Hes said one was $160,000 and one was $60,000. He said! he The Council reviewed the Administration report. Mayor Powers asked about the third sewer claim. Steve Lawver said it's unassociated with the other two claims and not in the same area. He said Ace Pipe ran a camera today in the line at the request from Police Dept. report - Mark McCall said we: should recognize the officers involved in thes swatting incident last month. Steve Lawver said he and Chief McCall would like to get with the HR Committee and Budget committee next week. Public Facilities & Planning: Mike Burns had nothing to report. Senior Citizens: Bobl McAfee had nothing to report. UNFINISHED BUSINESS Hollie LaVigne wanted tot thank LaDonna Allen and thel Budget Committee for their work on the budget. Mike Burns said Steve had mentioned before about hiring a city engineer and wanted tol know ift that was something we were still considering. Steve Lawver he's talked to Allgeier Martin about that, and they'ret trying tol hire aj projects manager, which would be cheaper than an engineer. He said they also talked about a design profession, who could design all the parks and public works projects but doesn'tcost as much as an engineer.
