Joedecke Jr. District4 James Murphy 33 BRASELTON MAYOR & COUNCIL Council Meeting Minutes November 14, 2022 The Town of Braselton met for its regular meeting on Monday, November 14, 2022. Mayor Ward called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Council members present were Becky Richardson, Richard Harper, James Joedecke and James Murphy. Mayor Ward led the Pledge of Allegiance. Councilmember Richardson made a motion to amend the motion she made at the October meeting to change the condition on Application 22-04-RZ from a cap of 49 parking spaces to a minimum of 49 parking Councilmember Joedecke made a motion to approve the minutes of the meeting from October 10, 2002. spaces. Mayor Ward seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Councilmember Murphy seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. There were: no citizens comments. Mayor Ward presented a proclamation tol Evan Murrer 2022 Citizen Academy graduates were present and received their graduation certificates Employee Years of Service. Award was presented to Cathy Smith for 20 years Councilmember Harper made a motion to approve the resolution adopting the CIE and STWP. Councilmember Richardson seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Councilmember Harper made a motion to approve the change inl license holder for Kroger to Daniel Carolus. Councilmember Joedecke seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Councilmember Joedecke made a motion to move forward with draft voting district map 2020 Plan 02. Councilmember Richardson seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Ward made al motion to move forward with the proposed changes review in the Work Session to the Braselton Comprehensive Plan and Development Code. Councimember Murphy seconded the motion, At7:20 pm, Mayor Ward made a motion to enter into Executive Session for the purpose of discussing personnel. Councilmember Richardson seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. which passed unanimously. At 8:03 pm, Mayor Ward made a motion to exit Executive Session. Councilmember Joedecke seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. No action was taken based on discussions in Executive Session. At 8:04 pm, Mayor Ward made a motion to enter into Executive Session for the purpose of discussing pending or potential litigation. Councilmember Joedecke seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. At 8:20 pm, Mayor Ward made a motion to exit Executive Session. Councilmember Harper seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. No action was taken based on discussions in Executive Session. At 8:25 pm, Councilmember Harper made a motion to adjourn.
