The property is approximately 4.24 acres and identified as Jackson County Tax Parcel 118 043C5. The property is zoned General Commercial and is located in the SR 53 Overlay District. The applicant requests a Conditional Use approval for a Hotel/Extended Stay Hotel. The Planning Director recommended approval of the application with the following conditions: 1. The site and building design shall be consistent with the proposed application. Deviations from the application shall only be granted to meet all applicable local, state, and federal regulations. 2. There shall be no marketing or advertising promoting weekly or monthly occupancy. 3. Lodging rates shall be set per day with no separate weekly or monthly rates offered.
