Mayor Ward called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.  Council members present were Becky Richardson, Tom Logan and James Murphy. Richard Harper attended  remotely.  Mayor Ward led the Pledge of Allegiance.  Councilmember Richardson made a motion to approve the minutes of the meetings from February 12, Andy Crawford appeared in Citizen Comments and told Council why he was running for Superior Court  2024. Councilmember Murphy seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.  Judge.  Councilmember Murphy made a motion to approve Application # 24-01-CU with the Planning Director's recommended condition that before anyi impervious surface parking areas are installed on areas previously slated to use pervious surfaces on the approved plans, the Public Works Director must provide formal approval that all requirements set forth by her to comply with the Post Construction Stormwater Ordinance have been fulfilled. Councimember Richardson seconded the motion, which passed 4-0, Mayor Ward Councilmember Richardson made a motion to. adopt the Indemnification Policy as revised by the Town Attorney following the Work Session. Councilmember Murphy seconded the motion, which passed 4-0, Councilmember Murphy made a motion to deny the waiver of licensing late fees from Pawn & Antique Exchange. Councilmember Murphy made a motion to approve the Special Event Request from Childrens Healthcare of Atlanta. Councimember Logan seconded the motion, which passed 4-0, Mayor Ward abstaining from the  vote.  At7 7:05 pm Councilmember Murphy made a motion to enter Executive Session to discuss land acquisition, personnel and pending or potential litigation as contemplated under O.C.G.A. 8 50-14-3. Councilmember Richardson seconded the motion, which passed 4-0, Mayor Ward abstaining from the vote. At 7:47 pm Councilmember Murphy made a motion to exit Executive Session. Councimember Logan  seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Based on discussions in Executive Session:  Councilmember Logan made a motion to approve the Conditional Use Permit 23-03 and corresponding site/landscaping plan with modifications dated March 5, 2024 along with Settlement Agreement and Release dated March 11, 2024 between HECE, LLC and the Town of Braselton and its individual elected officials. Councilmember Murphy seconded the motion, which passed 4-0, Mayor Ward abstaining from the vote. Councilmember Murphy made ai motion to approve Addendum to Town Manager's Employment Contract. At 7:49 pm Councilmember Murphy made a motion to adjourn.
