The regular monthly meeting was held on April 9, 2018 and all Commission members Chairman Beard called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. and Mr. Burge led the Pledge of Motion by Mr. Weeks, seconded by Mr. Burge to approve the agenda for the April 9,  2018 Commission meeting as presented.  Ayes 3 Nays 0  Motion by Mr. Burge, seconded by Mr. Weeks to adopt the minutes from the March 5,2018  Commission meeting as presented by staff.  Ayes 3 Nays 0 hearings. Rezoning:  Chairman Beard stated that this portion oft the meeting would be set aside for public  #Z-18-02: JHI Homes, Inc. requests a rezoning for the property located on Smokey Road, being parcel 7-270-034, containing 13.6 acres from M-1 to R-100. Cameron Henderson was present on behalf of the applicant. No one spoke against the request. Motion by Mr. Burge, seconded by Mr. Beard to table the request. Mr. Weeks abstained. Hill Street, Parcel No. 7-295B-111, 024 & 025, requests to modify condition #3: from the commission meeting on December 5,2016 requiring 20: feet minimum driveway with to 161 feet minimum driveway width.  DN 1  B4    Applicant was present. A business owner located at 489 South Hill Street expressed concerns about the request and stated that cars were parking in their parking lot. Chairman Beard noted that the new: residents that purchase the homes should not be parking in their parking lot. Motion by Mr. Weeks seconded by Mr. Burge to approve  the request. Ayes 3 Nays 0  #ZM-18-02: JHI Homes, Inc., East Main Street, Parcel No. 7-295E-032, requests to modify conditions #10 and #11 from the commission: meeting on January 2, 20181 to increase maximum number of] lots from 5 lots to 81 lots and to allow the house bordering East Main Street to face and have an entry within the subdivision.
