Presentation and update regarding the proposed Short-Term Rental (STR) regulations (45 minutes). Munal Mauladad = Managing Director of Community Development and Engineering, along with Dale Jackson - Building Official, presented the proposed regulations as amended after the last discussion. Staff is proposing a one-year pilot program, amending the current ordinance, revising the Master Fee Schedule to reflect the changes in fees, engaging a third-party vendor to administer the program and adopt regulations for hotels and motels. Council discussion to clarify the fees, number of cars allowed for owner-occupied rentals, quiet hours, definition of "bedroom" in keeping with current building code and process for continual complaints. It was the consensus of Council to proceed with the recommendations. 4.
