Municipal Building - 4000 Main Present: Mayor Margolis, Mayor Pro Tem Shinder, Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Winget, Councilmember Bowers, Councilmember Britton, Councilmember Schupp, and Counclimember-Elect Reaves CALL TO ORDER 1. Mayor Margolis called the meeting to order ate 6:30 p.m. 2. INDIVIDUAL CONSIDERATION 2A. Consider action to approve a resolution canvassing the results of the Runoff Election held on Saturday, December 9, 2023 for the position of Councimember Place One. Mayor Margolis read the item into the record. A motion was made by Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Winget seconded by Councilmember Britton to approve the resolution. This item was adopted as RES-139-23. The motion passed with a 6-0 vote. PRESENTATIONS 3. 3A. Conduct oath of office for newly elected Councimember. Judge Kilgore administered the oaths of office to newly elected Councilmember Reaves. Councimember Reaves made remarks thanking everyone for their support. Mayor Margolis welcomed Councilmember Reaves to the Rowlett City Council. 4.
