Park Fund: Park CIP Fund: $831,912 PATH Fund: Staffboard liaison Suzanne Brooke reported on the balances on the following funds: $40,882.56 $20,275-52 She also reported the spring campaign for PATH that offered a new special t-shirt as a reward for any new members signing up at the $10 recurring donation level int the month of April was launched at the Heart of] Heath 5k/Family Run to promote PATH and the special campaign. She stated that Leah Park & Play reported that the equipment for the 2023 PATH project of "Sunset Swings" at' Terry Park would be delayed again by weather. And suggested extending the PATH campaign through May 30i inl hopes of showing progress oft this project as) part of Public Works Director Matthew Holzapfel provided an update on] park maintenance at Terry Park. At the December 12, 2022, Park Board meeting, Board member Reed shared concerns regarding the status ofTerry Park, after which Holzapfel met Reed at' Terry Park to review needs.. Al list of repairs was compiled, of which Public Works has completed many of. However, the work] has depleted the park maintenance budget, and Holzapfel noted that this illustrates the need for more maintenance funding, but that he and staffy would continue to do whatever Assistant City Manager Kevin Lasher shared input on the Passive Park/Plaza project Towne Center Village. Adjacent to FM 740/Laurence Drive that was received from the Towne Center developer and business owners, as well as the HEDC/HMBCboard. There was developer the campaign marketing. The Board agreed. was possible with the resources available. thel businesses, including' Tom Thumb, which Lasher noted would be addressed by the 3.c Presentation, Discussion and Action Regarding Proposal for Phase 2 Design Development for the Laurence Center Passive Park/Plaza Adjacent to FM 740 Mr. Michael Black, ASLA, with lai terra studio, inc., submitted aj proposal for Phase 21 for services related to design development and construction document preparation for the Laurence Center Passive Park project. The bulk oft this effort would involve the development ofa realistic construction budget for site improvements. The consultant's fees for Phase: 2 are determined by aj percentage based on the current construction budget estimate of $440,440.
