TOLAR CITY COUNCIL MINUTES-I REGULAR MEETING  The City ofTolar Council met on Monday, October 18, 2021 at 6:00P.M.  Present:  Terry. Admin  Meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m.  Terry. Johnson, Chip Foster, Brian Gall, and, Kevin Fron were present. Mayor Johnson opened the public hearing at 6:00PM. Being aj portion ofa certain tract A and tract) B of land as described by deed to Joe Swaim and Syble Swaim and recorded in volume 1575, page 279, deed records, Hood Being a tract of land situated in the Rachel Story Survey, Abstract number 501, City of Tolar, Hood County, Texas, and Mayor Johnson asked for questions or comments. To receive comments for the requested rezoning, subdivision, and replat of property located at 308 N. Pine Street from Mayor Johnson asked for questions or comments. There were none. September 20, 2021 regular meeting  Motion: by Chip Foster, second by Brian Gall to approve minutes as presented.  Motion carried 3/0 NEW BUSINESS  1.). Approval of annexation by Ordinance 2021-09, plat approval, preliminary plat approval, and zoning of property being an 8.680, 9.997, and 115.497 acre tracts of land situated in the Rachel Story Survey, Abst. 501, Hood County, Texas. Being a portion of a certain tract A and tract B ofl land as described by deed to. Joe Swaim and Syble Swaim and recorded in volume  1575, page 279, deed records, Hood County, Texas. Discuss and approve Ordinance 2021-08 canceling thel November 2nd, 2021 General Election  Motion: by Chip Foster, second by Brian Gall to approve ordinance.  Motion carried3 3/0  4.) Discuss and possibly approve the Hood County Inter-Local Contract for Animal Control Support.  Motion: by) Brian Gall, second by Chip Foster tot table until the next meeting. Actual  Motion: by Chip Foster, second by] Kevin Fron to approve all financials as presented.  Motion carried 3/0    OLD BUSINESS None STAFF REPORTS  1.)Operations Director/Public Works  James Brown spoke to the council about city ongoing projects. Including the engineering oft the new sewer plant and cleaning  out culverts. 2.)F Planning and Zoning Planning and zoning issued various permits. 3.) Code Enforcement 4.), Administrative 5.)C Council EXECUTIVE SESSION None  Discussed code enforcement fors sections of the city and various violation letters are being sent out.  ACTION ONI ITEMS TAKEN UPI IN EXECUTIVE SESSION  No action was taken ANNOUNCEMENTS  Regular meeting November 15, 2021 @ 6P.M. The city hall willl be closed November 11h for Veterans Day.
