TOLAR CITY COUNCIL MINUTES = AUGUST 03, 2021 - BUDGET WORKSHOP  The City of Tolar Council met on August 03, 2021 at 6:00P.M.  Present:  Terry Johnson, Mayor Sally Grimes Chip Foster Brian Gall Kevin Fron Matt Hutsell  Absent: City Staff Present: CALL TO ORDER ROLL CALL NEW BUSINESS  Michelle Burdette, City Secretary Derek Malone, Director of Public' Works  Meeting was called to order at 6:06 P.M.  Sally Grimes, Chip Foster, Brian Gall, and Kevin From were present. Matt Hutsell was absent.  1.) Discuss the proposed 2021-2022 fiscal year budget  Proposed budget for the fiscal year 2021-2022 fort the general fund and water/wastewater fund were discussed in detail. Property taxi income wasi increased by $11,750.00. This was due to new total city valuation amount  received from HCAD.  2.) Discuss the 2021 property tax rate  The current tax ratei is $.0450000 cents per $100 valuation. The rate being discussed is $.0436652 cents per  $100 valuation. ADJOURN Motion carried 4/0.
