TOLAR CITY COUNCIL MINUTES - REGULAR MEETING The City of Tolar Council met on Monday, March 15, 2021at6:00P.M. Present: Terry Johnson, Mayor Matt Hutsell Sally Grimes Chip Foster Brian Gall Absent: Kevin From City Staff Present: CALL TO ORDER ROLL CALL Michelle Burdette, City Secretary/P&ZI Code Enforcement Shavonne Kenley, Water Dept. Admin./Code Enforcement Derek Malone, Director of Public Works/Inspector Meeting was called to order at 6:02 p.m. Terry Johnson, Matt Hutsell, Sally Grimes, Chip Foster, and Brian Gall were present. PUBLIC HEARING Mayor Johnson opened the hearing at 6:02 P.M. To receive public input regarding a variance request from Section 18 oft the City's Zoning Ordinances regarding setbacks within the Single-Family Residential District 6000sf(R6). Thej property is located at 9000 Parkview Circle. The property is legally described as: Lot1, Parkview Place, Addition 11, an addition to the City ofTolar, Hood County, Texas. Mayor Johnson asked for comments, there were no comments. Mayor Johnson adjourned the public hearing at 6:03 P.M. CITIZENS APPEARANCE (3 minute limit-Council may not respond) Jackson Fulgham addressed the council to thank the Tolar' Volunteer Fire Department and Michelle Burdette, City Secretary for their assistance during his illness. APPROVAL OF MINUTES-REGULAR MEETING January 19, 2021 regular meeting. Motion carried 4/0 Motion: by Matt Hutsell, second by Chip Foster to approve minutes as presented. NEW BUSINESS 1.) Discuss andt take action on a variance request from Section 18 of the City's Zoning Ordinances regarding setbacks within the Single-Family Residential District 6000sf (R6). Motion: by Brian Gall, second by Matt Hutsell to approve the requested variance as presented by Shane Flippin. 2.) Discuss and take action on a request for subdivision and replat of property known as Lot 8: Block 1, of the Hutsell Motion: by Chip Foster, second by Sally Grimes to approve subdivision as presented by Sonia Homes. 3.) Discuss and take action on at request for replat of property known as Lots: part of4,5, and 6, Block N % of73 and Block S 1/2of73in Volume 87, page 378 & 379, oft the Hood County Plat records. Located at 218 Tolar Cemetery Road. Motion carried 4/0 Addition in the Parkview subdivision. Motion carried 3/0 Matt Hutsell abstained from voting. Motion: by Matt Hutsell, second by Brian Gall to approve as presented by Mayor Johnson. Motion carried 4/0 4.). Discuss and take action on The City ofTolar Fee Schedule. Motion: by Sally Grimes, second by Chip Foster to approve as presented by the City Secretary. Motion carried 4/0 5.) Approval of financials. Bank Reconciliation Statement of Financial Income and Expenses Expenses by' Vendor Detail Profit & Loss Budget VS. Actual Motion: by Matt Hutsell, second by Brian Gall to approve all financials as presented. Motion carried 4/0 OLD BUSINESS None STAFF REPORTS 1.) Public Works Discussed daily duties. 2.)
