CITY OF DENTONSUSTAINABILITYFRAMEWORK ADVISORY COMMITTEE  MINUTES November 19, 2021  After determining that a quorum was present, the Sustainability Framework Advisory Committee of the City of Denton, Texas convened in a Regular Meeting on Friday, November 19, 2021, at PRESENT: Chair Keely Briggs, Vice Chair Matthew Fry, and Members Brand Richter, Ed Soph,  1:05 p.m. in the Sustainability Office at 1001 S Mayhill Rd, Denton, Texas.  and Adam Briggle  ABSENT: Member Wendell Stevens  REGULAR MEETING  1. ITEMS FOR INDIVIDUAL CONSIDERATION  A. SFAC21-033 Consider approval ofthe October 29, 2021 minutes. The item was not presented, and no discussion followed.  Member Soph moved to approve the item as presented. Member Fry seconded the motion. Motion  carried. SFAC21-030 Receive a report, hold a discussion and give staff feedback regarding the current  state of climate adaptation tools, resources and: next steps. SFAC21-031 Receive a report and hold a discussion regarding the Green Business Program  updates, changes, and scheduled relaunch.  The item was presented, and discussion followed on the following points.  Following discussion, staff agreed to provide information as to whether the window stickers for  the program were/were not biodegradable. D.SFAC21-032 Staff Reports 1. Cohort Staff Report 2. CONCLUDINGITEMS  Committee consensus was for Stafft toj provide the following:  Presentation from Solid Waste Department about the landfill gas project. Presentation on new data center and how it impacts the environment. Report on direct power purchases; projections for future usage. Schedule a class on how to turn used items into gifts. Transportation discussion be put on hold due to department: turnover.  Update on the Climate Action Plan.
