CITY OF DENTON SUSTAINABILITY FRAMEWORK ADVISORY COMMITTEE  MINUTES August 31,2022  After determining that a quorum is present, the Sustainability Framework oft the City ofI Denton, Texas will convene in a Special Called Meeting on Advisory Wednesday, 31, 2022, at 9:15 a.m. in the in the Council Work Session Room at City Hall, 215 E. August Street, Denton, Texas at which the following items will be considered: PRESENT: Chair Keely Briggs, Vice Chair) Matthew Fry and Members Ed  Committee McKinney Adam Soph, Briggle,  Wendell Stevens, and Brand Richter VIRTUAL: Wendell Stevens  SPECIALCALLED MEETING  Citizen Request to Speak- - professional. 1.  Scott Hazard, address, spoke in opposition to this agenda item as a homeowner and a solar  IEMSFORINDIVIDLALCONSIDERATION  A. SFAC22-024 Receive a report, hold a discussion, and give staff direction regarding updates to the GreenSense Incentives Program and rates related to distributed from renewable sources interconnected within Denton Municipal Electric service generation territory. Antonio Puente, General Manager, spoke first after the item was presented. Bill Executive Manager ofDME, talked about the GreenSense Program Overview. The Shepard, Efficiencies were introduced as well as the Energy Efficiency Stats. Solar rebates were then talked about. Rebates are no longer driving installs. Current Net energy back to DME. Terry Naulty spoke to clarify questions being asked by the  proposed  Energy billing  system and DME is 100 percent renewable.  Committee members.  Shepherd continued talking about the Net Energy back tol DME.  Lastly Shepherd introduced the three options. GreenSense, and the potential program additions. Staffi recommends option 3 which is....
