Met with the San Saba Sheriffs Department to discuss contract with city for extra assistance with ordinance enforcement. Discussed cost, hours, shifts, number of deputies and hours per week. Sheriff will work on possible sample schedule and cost, also suggested seeing if Chad Ashworth would be willing to work shifts. Adding to next 7:27pm 5. We reviewed and approved the bills for payment for the city and for the city water, sewer, and garbage dept. Extra costs, Stagecoach roof leak repair and purchasing stock for plumbing repairs. Motion made to discuss and approve proposed water rates and schedule a public meeting to advise everyone. Motion to agree to go with Option 2 of the rates chart plan, and to base rate at minimum 1,000 gallons per customer, and schedule public meeting to advise of the changes. Mayor Reports: -Most issues discussed during reports -Discussed siren committee status. Bref report from Jessica Scales. She has decided o members for committee, and with the help of Jason Lewis has reached out to company for analysis of best siren for our city, lowest costs, and full price including all necessary hardware and installation. Discussed how price was higher than originalyanticlpated and how all groups within the committee may not be able to cover equal amounts. Discussed city possibly paying slightly higher share if needed, to be determined once all groups meet. Still in process. Further updates to come. 8:39pm 14.
