Discussed costs associated with keeping itmaintenance, repairs, insurance etc). Decided to sell, since we do not need two work trucks for city, doubling costs. Will post and try to get bids. Motion made to sell the old city work truck, offering locally first, on RS Market Place on Facebook, and the Brady and San Saba newspapers, to be set by Thursday Dec 8+h, by noon. Mayor Reports: Old City Hall; the Gossett's aren't able to set aside time to assist with spec sheet, many current projects. Tim Brockman has agreed to assist, should have more Sewer pond cleanup - TCEQ decided to change process for discharge. Option to use fines to pay for removal has been rescinded; state they will look into other info by next meeting. options, more infot to come in near future. Old cable lines running through town with power lines, will be removing soon. Checked with Oncor, no problem in removing ourselves. Will looki into removal methods and costs and return with more info. 7:26pm 8. Frank had requested we discuss Community Center parking, but hei is not 7:26pm 9. We discussed the requests of additional water lines and adding meters to land in town for The McKinnerneys and The Bishops. Discussed McKinnerney lot next to creek, where we would connect in from, and where meter would go, in relation to existing meters and lines along roadside. Will verify property definitely falls in city limits where meter is being requested, and ifs so, then will go forward as needed. Discussed Bishops. They are splitting their land into three lots, but the lots are out of city limits. They are requesting to be added to city water system. Discussed economic start up costs associated with expanding utilities outside of cityl limits at this time. With upcoming water project and no plans to annex: along cityl limits in near future, costs to city would be too high. No plans to expand beyond city limits at this time.
