We discussed and approved previous minutes. Motion to approve made by 7:02pm 4. We discussed and approved payment of bills for the city and the water sewer and garbage. Discussed recent pump repairs and associated costs, eventually needing to purchase new ones and those costs.. Motion to approve made by Franky 7:10pm 6. Discussed adopting a resolution for the collection agency chosen to collect city fines. The city must have this in place to use any agency for collections. Motion made to approve Resolution to Impose Additional Fees for Collection Costs on Fines and Fees(see associated document titled such). Motion made by Jessica Scales, 2nd by Franky 7:12pm 7. Discussed upcoming election. No one opposed current office holders. Motion made to certify we will be canceling scheduled election due to uncontested positions. Price is similar to what was originally estimated by another company for similar services. City still has funds in emergencyt fund, decided to use those funds, city funds, and city SWG funds to cover costs without straining city and sewer accts. They are requesting any assistance with maintenance and upgrades being made to baseball field to bring it up to par for the teams this year. Most necessary items are more dirt for infield and assistance with watering field. City discussed paying for last load of dirt needed for field, and providing free water for the months of April and May during the 2023 season to keep field green. Motion made to assist the RSYBA by providing them with a $500 check to cover the costs of the last load ofi infield dirt needed, and providing free water to the field fort the months of April and May during the 2023 season.
