City of Denton Parks, Recreation, and Beautification Board  Minutes June 6, 2022  After determining that a quorum of the City of Denton, Texas, Parks, Recreation, and Beautification Board was present, the Board convened in a Regular Meeting on Monday, June 6, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. in the Civic Center Community Room at 321 E. McKinney Street, Denton, Present: Chair Alana Presley Taylor, and Members, Kwami Koto, Jerry Dooley, James Emerich,  Texas.  and Frances Punch  Absent: Vice-Chair George Ferrie  1.P PRESENTATIONS FROM MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC  Kristine Gray, 1217 Cordell St. Need for more tree coverage to future parks, replacing 'curved' bike racks with 'staple' bike racks, and creating a Denton graffiti park.  2. ITEMS FOR CONSIDERATION Plan. *[Council Priority]  A. PRB22-044: Receive ai report and hold a discussion regarding thel Denton 2040 Comprehensive  The item was presented, and discussion followed.  Following discussion, staff was provided the following discussion:  Work to prevent gentrification ofSoutheast Denton neighborhoods and possible relocation  ofresidents.  B. PRB22-047: Consider recommending approval ofai resolution oft the City of] Denton allowing Denton County Brewing Company to sell alcoholic beverages at the Yappy Hour event, on Friday, June 10, 2022, and Friday, August 5, 2022, at North Lakes Dog Park, upon satisfying certain conditions; authorizing the City Manager, to execute an agreement in conformity with  this resolution; and providing for an effective date. The item was presented, and discussion followed.  Member Punch moved to adopt the item as presented; Member Dooley seconded. Motion  carried.
