Purchase ofl International Diesel Crew Cab 2-Ton Truck with service bed, in an amount not to exceed $163,789.00 purchased from the HGACBuy Corporation for use by the City's Public' Works Department. David Barrera provided information and responded to questions. Councimember Garcia made a motion to approve the purchase, seconded by Councilmember Harris. The motion passed 5-0. 5. ORDINANCES, SECOND READING: authority in Section 11.36, Texas Tax Code. 5A. Ordinance No. 2024-04, second reading. An Ordinance establishing an exemption from ad valorem (property) taxes for qualifying child-care facility properties pursuant to the Shelley McElhannon read Ordinance No. 2024-04 caption into record. Councimember Hughes made a motion to approve Ordinance No. 2024-04 on second reading, seconded by Councilmember Herring. The motion passed 4-1 with Mayor Eychner, Councimember Harris, Councimember Herring, and Councimember Hughes voting in 5B. Ordinance No. 2024-05, second reading. An Ordinance deleting Chapter 22, "Aviation", of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Kerrville, Texas; containing a cumulative clause; containing a savings and severability clause; and providing other favor, and Councimember Garcia opposed. matters relating to this subject. CONSIDERATION AND POSSIBLE ACTION: Councimember Harris made a motion to adopt Ordinance No. 2024-05 on second reading, 6. 6A. Resolution No. 07-2024. A Resolution authorizing the sale of the property located at 505 Center Point Drive E., such property described as Lot 1, Oak View Estates, a subdivision out of the Benjamin B. Peck Survey No. 51, Abstract No. 266, and consisting ofapproximately 17.68 acres; and authorizing the City Managert to execute the documents Guillermo Garcia and Pablo Brinkman provided information and responded to questions Councilmember Hughes made a motion to approve Resolution No. 07-2024 and authorize the City Manager to execute the documents necessary to complete this sale, seconded by necessary to complete this sale.
