The City Manager suggested that staff present the item followed by the applicant presenting information ofintentions for re-zoning and the permit Director Gene Delauro presented information about the zoning of 300 acres of land with 190 acres of299 acres annexed. The: remaining portions of 109 acres were not annexed in 1988 annexation. The future land use would be forl heavy industrial use. Director Delauro spoke about the code of ordinances and how it pertains to this land, what the applicant is proposing the land be used for, the Planning and Zoning Board recommends the approval ofthe future zoning of the property that staff recommended, staff analysis oft the property andt the current zoning of the property, and what designation oft the land wanted.
