COUPLAND GITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING MINUTES AND EXECUTIVE SESSION MINUTES THURSDAY, OCTOBER 12, 2023, 6:00 P.M. COUPLAND (ESD) FIRE STATION 410 FM 1466 COUPLAND, TEXAS 78615  Call Regular Meeting to order and declare a Quorum. Mayor Piper called the meeting to order at one council member missing, John  approximately 6:00 p.m. and declared a quorum with  Roulston-Bates. The Regular Meeting was adjoured.  1IPage    Varlance request by Eric and Denise. Jiminez for 600 N. Broad St., Coupland, TX. Erlcand Denise Jiminez presented their request for the building situated at 600 N. Broad. Theystressed that it wast to be used as an offsite office location but that they would also like to use it: as sleeping quarters when family visits. Questions wère posed and council decided to discuss this further in an executive session. Variance request by. Jennifer Dollins relating to the operation of a small business Jennifer had no specific business that she was inquiring about. Council asked that when she knew the type of business to request that council review.  onCR458.  Posting for City Secretary position.  Council requested that the position be posted on the TML website, the Taylor Préss, the City of Coupland website. Barbara will commence work on this.  Road maintenance.  Alpha Paving will be contacted to do workon city streets. CR 458 will be done  foljowing the completion of grain season.  Reçeipt of petition from Burford Ranch requesting they be removed from the Council discussed and decided that (per law), not passing an ordinance approving the request but letting it run its course will be the counci'saction.  city'sETJ.
