Consideration and Action to approve the FY 2016 Cycle 1 romotiona/Communiy Event Grant Applications Program applications: distributed as follow: The board reviewed and discussed the FY: 2015 Cycle 1 Promotional Activity/Community Event/ Mr. Celestino Villarreal, moved that funding for the FY 2016 Cycle 1 promotional applications be $5,000 for the 18"h Annual Symphony in the Park $4,225 for the BAD's Annual How-0-Ween Extravaganza $5,000 for the Digital Marketing Campaign $4,975 for the Brownsville Trailblazers 5k/1 Mile Autism Run $5,000 for the Activating Vacancy Arts Incubator $2,500 for the Children's Bike Rodeo $2,500 for the 5th Annual Girls. Just Wanna Have Fun $5,000 for the Holiday Village 2016 $1,650 for the Halloween Book Bash Drive $2,500 for the Chalk Art Festival $2,500 for the Teddy Bear Clinic $2,000 for the Walk for Child Abuse Prevention $5,000 for the Sweat for Vets 5k/1 Mile Fun Run $5,000 for the Online Promotion for Sixth Street Exhibit Video The motion was seconded by Mrs. Anisa Gonzalez, Secretary. Motion carried unanimously. 5. Board Comments Mrs. Cori Pena, Project Coordinator, shared information about upcoming BCIC sponsored events. Mrs. Rebeca Castillo, Executive Director introduce BCIC new Administrative Assistant, Victoria Padron to BCIC Board. 6. Meeting Adjournment Meeting adjourned at 12:37P P.M. Villarreal.
