CITY OF COOPER  CITY COUNCIL MEETING -SPECIAL MEETING DECEMBER 29, 2022-5:00PM AND. JOSH HOSKISON IN PERSON CITY ATTORNEY:. JAY GARRETT  MEMBERS PRESENT: DAVID PHILLIPS; MAYOR PRO-TEM VIA ZOOM, AMANDA L'ESPERANCE VIA ZOOM,  OTHERS PRESENT: EMILY HOWSE. AND TANNER CRUTCHER ABSENT: MAYOR DARREN BRADDY, ALLEN FOSTER. AND DIANE STEGALL  AGENDA ITEM #1 AGENDA ITEM: #2  Mayor Pro-Tem, David Phillips called the meeting. City Attorney, Jay Garrett voiced the prayer.  Mayor Pro-Tem, David Phillips, turned the meeting over to Fire ChiefTanner Crutcher. Tanner presented to the council the 2022 Leary Firefighters Foundation Grant Agreement. Tanner stated that this grant would provide three thermal imaging cameras, estimated cost $24,990.00, for the Cooper Fire Department. Tanner: stated that this was a no match grant and the city would not be responsible for any cost. Tanner also stated that the 2022 Leary Firefighters Foundation Grant would pay the invoice directly to the vendor, sot there would be no reimbursement from the city. Tanner also stated that the grant stipulated guidelines for use and updates which would be made by the Cooper Fire Department on a Josh Hoskison made the motion to approve the 2022 Leary Firefighters Foundation Grant Agreement as  designated basis.  presented.
