BUFFALO STREET, CANTON, TEXAS  CANTON CITY COUNCIL AND CANTON ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION  Minutes  The Board of Directors oft the Canton Economic Development Corporation (CEDC) attended aj joint meeting with the City Council at the above-mentioned date and time. CEDC Board members present included: President Kevin Deibert, 1stVice Chair DeAnne Callan, 2nd Chair Corley Ragle, Justin Richard, Thomas Beckham, John McKeehan. City Council members present included: Mayor, Lou Ann Everett, Jim Fuller, Chase Melton, Nathan Moore, Blake Fowler and Randon Sumner. Also in attendance were City Manager Lonny Cluck, Attorney David Ritter, Assistant City Manager Steve Rupenthol, Executive CEDC Director Stacy 1. Call meeting of Canton City Council to order and declare a quorum present - Mayor Lou Ann  Crossley and Marketing Coordinator, Austin Melton.  Everett called the city council to order and declared a quorum at 6:00 pm. 2. Citizens forum - Citizens were invited to speak on matters relating to city government  of the Year applications.  Aj joint executive session between City Council and Canton Economic Development Corporation was  called at 6:04 pm.  In accordance with the authority contained in the Texas Government Code, Chapter 551, including but not limited to, Sections 551.071, 551.072, 551.074 and 551.087. The City Council and Canton Economic Development Corporation will convene in closed or executive session  to discuss the following matters.  9. The motion was seconded by Justin Richard, all voted in favor and the motion passed unanimously.
