Minutes of the Arlington City Council Workshop  Council Chambers 110 East 3rd Street Monday, February 26, 2024  Councimembers Present: HeatherLogan, Rob Toyer, Michelel Blythe, Yvonne Gallardo-Van  Ornam, Leisha Nobach, and Jan Schuette.  Council Members Absent: Debora Nelson, excused absence.  Staff Present: Mayor Don Vanney, Paul Ellis, Sarah Lopez, Kristin Garcia, Marc Hayes, Raelynn Jones, Jim Kelly, Kris Wallace, Mike Wolanek and sons, Katie Heim, Tony Orr, Mike Also Known to be Present: Nate Nehring and daughter, Kathy Vanney, Tim Abrahamson, Nathan Senff, Randy Nobach, Sid Logan, Holly Sloan-Buchanan, and Steve Maisch. Mayor Don Vanney called the meeting to order at 6:00 pm, and the Pledge of Allegiance and  Gilbert, City Attorney Steve Peiffle, and Wendy Van Der Meersche.  roll call followed.  APPROVALOFTETHEAGENDA  Mayor Pro Tem Michele Blythe moved to approve the agenda as presented. Councilmember Heather Logan seconded the motion, which passed with a unanimous vote. INTRODUCTION OF SPECALGUFSISAND PRESENTATIONS  Mayor Don Vanney introduced County Councilmember Nate Nehring, who presented a funding award document to the City of Arlington for $100,000 in granted funds toward the Jensen Park restroom project and $200,000 to the City of Arlington and Arlington Public  Schools for pickleball courts project. WORKSHOP ITEMS - NO ACTION WASTAKEN City'sapplications on ArcGIS Online Arlington's Spatial Technology and Web GIS. January 2024 Financial Report  Enterprise Data and Technology Manager Katie Heim provided an introduction to  Finance Director Kristin Garcia presented the January 2024 financial report. Discussion  followed with Ms. Garcia answering Council questions. Community and Economic Development Quarterly Report Community and Economic Development Director Marc Hayes presented the first quarter report. Discussion followed with Mr. Hayes answering Council questions.
