KIT CARSON COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS  MINUTES APRIL: 27, 2022  The Kit Carson County Board of County Commissioners meeting began in work session at 8:00 AM. Those present were Dave Hornung, Stan Hitchcock, Cory Wall, Lynsay Cormack,  Susan Corliss.  In-Person Schedule- - Commissioners Board Room 9:30. AM- Tiffany Ramos- - DHS Updates See the DHS Agenda for Orange Sheets and Contracts ofCounty Commissioners meeting at 2:44 PM. Commissioner Meeting to convene with Pledge of Allegiance  8:00 AM- Work Session  Department head was unable to attend in person. Meeting was held following Board  The Pledge of Allegiance was recited at 9:564 AM by Stan Hitchcock, Cory Wall, Dave  Hornung, Valerie Boyd, Nancy Gilley, Lynsay Cormack, and Susan Corliss.  10:00 AM- Valerie Boyd - Public. Health See the Board of] Public Health agenda.  10:30 AM- Collin Koop - Grounds & Buildings Updates  Discussion on when Terry Hubbell should spray at the fairgrounds, it was agreed that Agreements for Electric Service & Membership with K.C. Electric Association will supply power through four new transformers to the west side of the fairgrounds. The K.C. Electric applications were presented to request for service. The name the transformers will be Show Pavilion, District 1 Shop, 4- H: Bathrooms, and Rodeo Arena. Heat & Airis working again; he is calling an engineer weekly but nothing scheduled yet. Issues continue with the hospital contacting the Communication Center for all transfers. Jeff gave ai reminder ofthe agreement with Sherman County that dealt with this. Stan will talk to the hospital one more time. Discussion was. held on a letter from the Stratton Ambulance Association. Hel has been  dealing with a land division issue for the Assessor.  12:00 PM - Lunch  The Board ofCounty Commissioners recessed at 12:05 PM returning at 1:05 PM. Those present for session were Charolette Mireles, Mary Torres, Romelia Ornelas, Tracy Pischke, Margie Mireles, Valerie Boyd, Kelly Alvarez, Jeff Cure, Dave Hornung, Cory Wall, Stan  Hitchcock, Lynsay Cormack, Nancy Gilley, and Susan Corliss. Information Packet attached for Board of County Commissioners  1:00 PM- Charlotte Mireles /f food truck  Charolette Mireles addressed the Board of County Commissionet/Board of Public Health about the process ofrenewing her food resale license. She was not happy with the process and the Facebook post. Ms. Mireles paid the renewal fee to Kelly Alvarez; Lynsay Cormack went. tol her office to provide a receipt out oft the Admin office. Ms. Mireles is toj provide a time when she will start cooking at the Burlington Community Center for the annual inspection. 1.A. Approve minutes for the. April 20th - BOCC, DHS, & PH meetings, Accounts  1. Review and Approve Consent Agenda Items  Payable and Payroll  Cory Wall moved to approve the minutes for Boards of County Commissioners, Department of Public Health, and Department of Human Services on April 20th, the Accounts Payable in the amount of $54,270.79, and Payroll in the amount of $355,531.19, seconded by Dave Hornung. New Items  2.A Great Copier Service Assessor's Annual Maintenance Agreement  Dave Hornung moved to authorize signing the Printer Service Agreement for the Assessor's Office with Great Copier Service for the Lanier MP255 at a rate ofblack copies at $0.0105, seconded by Cory Wall. Monthly Reports  3.A March 2022 Monthly Admin Financials  Cory Wall moved to confirm the March Monthly Financials as present by Admin, seconded by Dave Hornung. Personnel Items  4.A Orange Sheet- Katie Rodriguez- Ambulance Reserve  Dave Hornung moved to approve the Ambulance New Hire Orange Sheet for Katie Rodriguez as an EMT-E Basic-IV Call Pay at $1.28 per hour, Transfers at $105.00, Other Pay for Weekends at $50.00, and year end bonus option, seconded by Cory Wall.  The motion passed by unanimous vote by Stan Hitchcock. KC: Electric Membership Agreement - Transformers  Additions:  Cory Wall moved to authorize signing the transformer and service agreements with K.C. Electric for four transformers and service on the west side oft the fairgrounds, seconded by Dave Hornung. The motion passed by unanimous vote by Stan Hitchcock.
