Those present were Cory Wall, Dave Hornung, Stan Hitchcock, Lynsay Cormack, and Susan Corliss. This is an open case: SO there was not open discussion. The Board ofCounty Commissioners explained the county government role of elected officials; as the Board of County Commissioners, Sheriff, County Clerk & Recorder, Assessor, Treasurer, and Coroner are elected by the voters of Kit Carson County, sO they run. each of their departments and are not managed by another elected official. The Board of County Commissioners are responsible for the county budget which does affect all departments. 12:00 PM - Lunch Cormack, and Susan Corliss. County government qualifies for the 1st Net phone system and would cost less per month than the current Verizon plan. More detailed bills will be presented at a later date. Microsoft 365 has become ai necessity for all employees with the lack of support for MS Office 13. Part-time employees will have email that is web based only. Quotes for a new file server and Tyler software are being researched. 1:30 PM - Collin Koop Grounds & Buildings Contracts There need for GFI breakers in the electoral boxes at the fairgrounds. An estimated cost of$67 per breaker if 50 or more are ordered from Daniel Electric; a quote will be presented for ap purchase order at a later meeting. An inquiry was received on servicing furnaces and forced AC other than the Samsung units twice a year; right now, his crew changes only the filters four times a year in them. The Wildan Group requested the opportunity to investigate the issues that have been happening with the Samsung HVAC; there are concerns from past experience oft the installation. Two contracts from Integrated Consulting Services - updated MEP and Electrical engineering have been received. The Board of County Commissioners called County Attorney Jeff Cure about signing the contracts with ICE; as written the county will owe money if decided to go with another company.
