BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS MINUTES OCTOBER 25, 2023 Thel Board ofCounty Commissioners meeting began in work session at 8:00 AM. Those present were. Dave Hornung, Stan Hitchcock, Cory Wall, Susan Corliss, and Theresa Korbelik. In-Person Schedule - Commissioners Board Room 8:00 AM- Work Session 9:30 AM- Collin Koop Grounds & Building Update Fair Board meeting update was given. A bid from Plains Heating & Air Conditioning to replace the. AC unit in the fairgrounds arena crows nest for the amount of $9,298.00. Collin will check if that bid will be payable in 2024. An updated proposal was given on carnival rides following at tour ofsome used rides in Nebraska and numerous calls with the Colorado: inspector about the condition and the better rides to look at. Collin will look into the cost of electrical 9:45. AM-) Dusty Johnson = Representative for Senators Rod Pelton and Byron Pelton Stopped by to attend the meeting. The update from the Colorado Senate was brief with only 12 Republicans they basically are working to minimize the impact of most bills. Agriculture is not ofinterest and ifa an Ag bill is introduced, they quickly lose control ofit with lots of additions being added to it. Basically, making a situation to wait for a better time. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited at 10:05 AM.
