Those present were Dave Hornung, Stan Hitchcock, Cory Wall, Susan Corliss, Theresa Korbelik. In-Person Schedule- - Commissioners Board Room 8:00 AM - Work Session Commissioner Meeting to convene with Pledge of Allegiance The Pledge of Allegiance was recited at 10:25 AM. Those present were Cory Wall, Stan Hitchcock, Dave Hornung, Valerie Boyd, Theresa Korbelik, and Susan Corliss. 10:30 AM- Valerie Boyd -1 Department of Public Health See the Board of Public Health agenda and minutes. 11:00 AM-Jeff Cure - County Attorney The final copy oft the Kit Carson County Road Policy wasj presented to adopt during Reorg next week. The policy will then become part of the annual Reorg. An update on the longhorns was given. 12:00 PM-Lunch The Board of County Commissioners recessed at 12:00 AM returning at 1:00 PM. Those present for the afternoon session were Cory Wall, Dave Hornung, Stan Hitchcock, Theresa Korbelik, and Susan Corliss. 1:30 PM-C Collin Koop - Grounds & Buildings Update Signage for the carnival ticket booth was discussed; a simple sign will work for this year. The plan is tol have all rides in Kit Carson County by the end of February, this will allow time for set up, repairs and touchups, and inspections. One of the maintenance pickups is having some problems; asked if there was a chance to switch one that might be available from Road & Bridge. The contract from Nebraska Safety and Fire Equipment was presented for 2024; this will be added to the agenda. 2:301 PM-Heather Morris - Ambulance Reorg Changes - Call In A request for changes in the payout format for the Reserves was reviewed in detail. Purchase Orders 4.A PO#24-00475 Amazon - Smart UPS-S $1,218.88-IT Dave Hornung moved to approve Purchase Order #24-00475 for the IT Department to Amazon for Smart UPS totaling $1,218.88, seconded by Stan Hitchcock.
