Archuleta County Development Services Department ARCHULETA COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES Archuleta County Planning Commission Minutes, Regular Meeting February 22,2024 The Archuleta County Planning Commission held a meeting on Thursday, February 22, 2024, at the Archuleta County Commissioners Meeting Room, 398 Lewis Street, Pagosa Springs, Colorado. Chairman Matt Nobles called the meeting to Peter Beaudry, David Pribble, Richard Vhile, and Matt Nobles were present and Commissioners. Jemal Mihalik and Mont order at 6:00 pm. Commissioners in attendance: McAllister were present via Zoom, establishing ac quorum. Appeal of Vacation Rental Permit Application Denial VRP036590 (Mott) Chris Mot began the discussion talking about his careeri in Archuleta County. Hei then discussed needing supplemental income, and his attempt to secure a Vacation Rental Permit. It was then discovered his property didi not have a Certificate of Occupancy fors some oft the remodeling. His lawyer, Nathan Osborn, then chimed in pleading his client's compliance with the County. Development Director, Pamela Flowers, then presented heri finding on the denial oft the' Vacation Rental Permit. This led to a long discussion! between the Development Director, Chris Mott, Nathan Osborn, andt the Planning Commissioner Pribble then made a motion tot tablet the decision and Commissioner Vhile seconded that motion.
