Jeannie MMC Davis, City Clerk  Eentba  -1- -1-    MINUTES OFTHE FOWLER RECREATION COMMISSION MEETING  FEBRUARY 12,2019  Chair Smith called the meeting to order at 6:04 p.m.  Commissioners present: Also present:  Sonia Brum, Willie Parker, Joe Alvarez, Monique Lopez, Roy Alatorre, Jim Martin, and Patric Jones Recreation Coordinator Yvonne Hernandez and Public Works Supervisor Manuel Lopez  PUBLIC: PRESENTATIONS APPROVAL OF MINUTES  None.  Commissioner Alvarez made ai motion to approve the Minutes of the November 13, 2018 meeting, seconded by Commissioner Jones. The motion carried unanimously.  OLD BUSINESS:  Sonia Brum will remain President for 2019. Commissioner Jones motioned to appoint Brum as President, Seconded by Commissioner Lopez. The motion carried unanimously. Brum appointed  Patric Jones as Vice President, and Monique Lopez as Secretary.  Fowlers Fabulous 4th ofJuly Fireworks Show  Commissioner Lopez motioned to hire Monsanto to perform as the musical entertainment at the  event, seconded by Commissioner Parker. The motion carried unanimously.  NEW BUSINESS: Easter Egg Hunt  This event will be held on April 13, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. Recreation Commissioners will meet at  the Edwin Blayney Senior Center at 10:30. a.m.  Spring Fest  This event will be held on April 27, 2019: from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  Mayor's Prayer Breakfast This event will be held on May 10, 2019.
