Alvarez called the meeting to order at 6:03 p.m. Commissioners present: Also present: Patric Jones, Willie Parker, Monique Lopez, Henrietta Recreation Coordinator, Yvonne Hernandez and City Martin, and Roy Alatorre Council Liaison, Leonard Hammer PUBLIC PRESENTATIONS None. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Commissioner Jones made a motion to approve the Minutes from the November 12, 2019, meeting, seconded by Commissioner Martin. The motion carried unanimously. OLD BUSINESS The Christmas Tree Lighting event had great attendance. An idea for a 50/50 raffle was The Children's Shopping Day event had a great turn out ofs shoppers and helpers. discussed for next year'se event. NEW BUSINESS Reorganization took place. The Recreation Commission elected Patric Jones as new Chairman. Chairman Jones appointed Henrietta Martin as Vice-Chairman and Monique Velasquez-Lopezas Secretary. The Easter Egg Hunt event scheduled to be held on. April 4, 2020. The city wide yard sale, Springfest, is scheduled to be held on April 18, 2020.
