Corina Burrola Deputy Ciy Clerk  Coufad    Minutes of the Fowler Recreation Commission Meeting  October 10, 2020  Chairman Patric Jones called the meeting to order at 6:04 p.m.  Commissioners present: Commissioners absent: Also, present:  Patric Jones, Monique Lopez, Roy Alatorre Adriana Prado (via teleconference), Henrietta Martin, Willie Parker, and. Joe Alvarez Recreation Coordinator Yvonne Hernandez  PUBLIC PRESENTATIONS  Fowler resident, Tomas Carrasco, called in via teleconference line and inquired about funding from Fire Works show being allocated to another event possibly because it was canceled due to COVID-19. He also suggested a scavenger hunt organized by the Recreation Commission for the  public to participate in. APPROVAL OF MINUTES  Commissioner Velasquez-Lopez made a motion to approve the Minutes, seconded by  Commissioner Prado. The motion carried unanimously.  NEW BUSINESS  The Trunk or Treat drive thru event is scheduled for October 29, 2020. Vehicles will start  parking at 3:00 p.m. The event will start at 5:00 p.m.  Christmas Tree Lighting event is tentative due to COVID-19 restrictions. Children's Shopping Day event is tentative due to COVID-19 restrictions.  ADJOURNMENT  Commissioner Velasquez-Lopez motioned to adjourn, seconded by Commissioner Prado.
