Adjournment  CERTIFICATION: 1 Rebecca Molina, Ofice Clerk of the City of Fowler, California, hereby certify that the foregoing  agenda was postedf for publici review on Friday, February 5, 2021.  aleê Mlac  Rebecca Molina Ofice Clerk  -1-    Minutes of the Fowler Recreation Commission Meeting  January 20, 2021  Secretary Monique Velasquez called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.  Commissioners present:  Monique Lopez, Adriana Prado, Joe Alvarez, Roy Alatorre (via teleconference), Willie Parker (via teleconference, got disconnected and entered the council chambers at 6:27pm), Patric  Jones (via teleconference) Henrietta Martin  Commissioners absent: Also, present:  Recreation Coordinator Yvonne Hernandez, Public Works Director Dario Dominguez, and City Liaison Councilmember Juan Mejia  PUBLIC PRESENTATIONS  Councimember Mejia, city liaison, expressed his vision of expanding the scope of recreation  commission events, as well as a possible budget increase.  APPROVAL OF MINUTES  Commissioner Alvarez made ai motion to approve the Minutes from the October 10, 2020, special meeting seconded by Commissioner Parker. The motion carried unanimously.  NEW BUSINESS  Reorganization - Patric Jones and Monique Velasquez tied in votes for the position of Chairman. We will revisit and hold another vote next meeting. The position for Vice Chairman went to Adrianna Prado. The position of Secretary will go to Monique Velasquez-Lopez ifs she Easter Egg Hunt- A Scavenger hunt was proposed. Commissioners discussed how to get businesses involved, how to have families register, and how to distribute a goody bag pick-up the day before event with instructions etc. Further details will be discussed next meeting. Tentative Event Dates - Commissioners went over tentative event dates, and discussed possible modifications to be able to hold events this year with social distancing and COVID guidelines in  has not been voted in as president.  mind.
