TOWN OF LIMON BOARD OF TRUSTEES Regular Meeting November 4, 2010 Notice of this meeting was published in the Limon Leader on November 4, 2010. Mayor Beattie called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. ROLL Town Clerk Chris Snyder called roll. Members of the Board present: Mayor Beattie; Trustees: Andersen, Hawthorne, Hendricks, Metcalf and King. Trustee Kelly was absent. STAFF Staff present: Town Manager Stone, Attorney Kimble, Building Inspector Stang, Chief of Police Yowell, Administrative Intern Hanson and Town Clerk Snyder. GUESTS Will Bublitz and. John Cardona. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE MINUTES Trustee Hendricks moved to approve the minutes for October 7, 2010; seconded by Trustee Hawthorne. Voting Aye: Mayor Beattie, Trustees Andersen, Hawthorne, Hendricks, Kelly and King. Abstain: Trustee Metcalf. Motion carried. 10 MINUTE CITIZEN INPUT- - NONE LIQUOR LICENSE RENEWAL King. Motion carried unanimously. Trustee Hendricks moved to approve the liquor license renewal for Lincoln Lanes; seconded by Trustee TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP REQUEST FROM PILOT TRAVEL CENTERS Trustee King moved to approve the transfer of ownership request from Pilot Travel Centers; seconded by Trustee Andersen. Motion carried unanimously. RESOLUTION NO. 10-10-40; EMPLOYEE PENSION AMENDMENT Town Manager Stone introduced and there was read in full the title of the following proposed resolution and the entire text of said resolution was submitted in writing to each member of the Board of Trustees and Resolution No. 10-10-40; A Resolution Approving an Amendment and Restatement to the Town of Limon Municipal Employees Retirement Income Plan and Trust to Assure Proper Determination of Eligibility Trustee Hendricks moved to approve Resolution No. 10-10-40; seconded by Trustee Hawthorne. Motion the Mayor. Levels Under Specific Employment Circumstances Defined in the Plan. carried unanimously. BOARD OF ADJUSTMENTS APPOINTMENT Trustee Andersen moved to appoint Joe Martin to the Board of Adjustments; seconded by Trustee King. Motion carried unanimously. Regular Meeting November 4, 2010 Page 1 SELECTION OF MUNICIPAL REPRESENTATIVE The Board discussed asking Trustee Kelly to serve as Limon's nomination for the East Central Council of Local Governments Board of Directors. Mayor Beattie said he was willing if Trustee Kelly was not able to serve. ATTORNEY'S REPORT ADMINISTRATION REPORT Chief of Police Yowell Attorney Kimble reported on municipal court cases. Motion carried unanimously. MAYOR'S REPORT interested to become a member. TRUSTEE'S REPORT APPROVAL OF BILLS Motion carried unanimously. ADJOURNMENT Mayor Beattie talked about the importance of the Progressive 15 organization and encouraged anyone Trustee Andersen will meet with the Library Board on Monday. Trustee Hawthorne moved to approve the bills for the month of October; seconded by Trustee King.
