K Jeannie Davis City Clerk EBLKE CAuLAwE 3 ITEM 5D MEMORANDUM To: DATE: Background Honorable Mayor and City Council Members FROM: Randy Uyeda SUBJECT: FY 2020-2021 Interim Budget July 16, 2020 Due to the Corona Pandemic, Finance requested at the last Council Meeting held on June 16, 2020 that the FY 2019-20 Budget be used as the Interim Budget for FY 2020-21 until additional revenue information is received in the second quarter. Council approved the measure and Finance is therefore submitting the FY 2020-21 Interim Budget (FY 2019-20 Budget with finished capital expenditures removed but including open capital projects). There are a limited number of budget items that staff wishes to discuss and add to the interim budget with Council approval. Recommendation Council accept the attached budget as approved in the June 16h Council Meeting along with the aforementioned additional budget requests.
