City of Dacono City Council Special Meeting Minutes Monday, April 1, 2024  Meeting called to order at 6:00 PM Members Present  Doris Crespo Tony Cummings Rick Gerk Adam Morehead Kevin Plain Michelle Rogers Danny Long, excused Valerie Taylor, City Clerk Kelly Stroh, Finance Director Brian Skaggs, Police Chief Bobby Redd, Public Works Director  Members Absent Staff Present  Jennifer Krieger, Community Development Director/Interim City Manager  General Business  A. Executive Session for the discussion of a personnel matter under C.R.S. S 24-6- 402(4)(f) and not involving any specific employees who have requested discussion of the matter in open session; any member of this body or any elected official; the appointment of any person toi fill an office of this body or of an elected official; or personnel policies that do not require the discussion of matters personal to particular employees; and for the purpose of determining positions relative to matters that may be subject to negotiations, developing strategy for negotiations, and/or instructing negotiators, under C.R.S. S 24-6-402/4)e), specifically for review of potential appointment of a City Manager, none of the candidates for which position are Councimember Plain moved to go into Executive Session for the discussion of a personnel matter under C.R.S. S 24-6-402(4)() and noti involving any specific employees who have requested discussion oft the matter in open session; any member of this body or any elected official; the appointment of any person to fill an office of this body or of an elected official; or personnel policies that do not require the discussion of matters personal to particular employees; and for the purpose of determining positions relative to matters that may be subject to negotiations, developing strategy for negotiations, and/or instructing negotiators, under C.R.S. S 24-6-402(4)(e), specifically for review of potential appointment of a City Manager, none of the candidates for which position are finalists. The vote was unanimous  finalists.  with Mayor Morehead declaring the motion. Convened into Executive Session at 6:02 PM  Mayor Morehead stated the time is now 7:03 PM, and the executive session has been concluded. The participants in the executive session were: Council Member Rick Gerk, Council Member Tony Cummings, Council Member Doris Crespo, Council Member Kevin Plain, City Clerk Valerie Taylor, Interim City Manager Jennifer Krieger, Finance Director Kelly Stroh, Police Chief Brian Skaggs, Public Works Director Bobby Redd. For the record, if any person who participated in the executive session believes that any substantial discussion of any matters not included in the motion to go into the executive session  Page 1 of2    occurred during the executive session, or that any improper action occurred during the executive session in violation oft the Open Meetings Law, he asked that any concerns be  stated fori the record.
