PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION REGULAR MEETING February 6, 2024 The Cedaredge Planning and Zoning Commission met for a Regular Meeting on February 6 at 6 p.m. at the Cedaredge Civic Center located at 140 NW 2nd Street, Cedaredge. The meeting notice was posted in Town Hall at the designated area, at least 24 hours prior to the meeting in accordance with the Sunshine Law. All documents included in these minutes by Call to Order & Pledge of Allegiance: Planning Commission Chair Skip Bethurum at 6j p.m. Roll Call: Chairperson Skip Bethurum, Commissioners Ardon Barnes, Jason Weed, Steve Anderson and ex-officio Trustees Tracy Gist and Jim Atkinson. Let it be shown for the record that Interim Town Administrator Mark Relph and Town Clerk Jess Shelton were in attendance. Reading of the Mission Statement: Chairperson Bethurum read the mission statement. Meet Interim Town Administrator (TA) Mark Relph: TA Relph introduced himselfto the Back Nine Development Timeline: TA Relph stated what the timeline would be for the Back Nine Development and asked the Commission which date would work better for them tol have reference are available for review at the Cedaredge Town Hall. and led the Pledge of Allegiance. Commissioner Marcy Peterson was excused from the meeting. Planning Commission and gave some background on himself. the Public Hearing on this matter. Commissioner Anderson stated he was not sure there would be enough time to review the TA Relph stated in this process; typically, the first meeting would not include public testimony. The first meeting would be for the Commission to discuss their issues and questions about the application. Then at the second meeting, approximately two weeks later, the public would be able to comment on the application. Commissioner Bethurum stated many questions would come out at the first meeting and then public questions and comments would be at the second meeting. Discussions were. held about the process and the timeline. The Planning Commission asked' TA Relph to have a special meeting prior to the March 6meeting, sO that the Planning Commission is familiar with the process. application prior to the Public Hearing.
