No discussion was held. 2 KMH-Jasmine Shea Housing Funding Jasmine DON of] KMH along with Dan Covington discussed the need for housing and presented the council with aCHFAI handout on funding. The council discussed thej plans inj place to address the housing shortage in Cheyenne Wells. The town is currently working with CHFA, DOLA, and' Wells Rural Development to engineer a large housing development on the east end ofTown. The council will be in contact with KMH for letters ofs support in future grant applications. DISCUSS CHEYENNE COUNTY: FAIR & TUMBLEWEED the fairground area during the rodeo and dance time frames. SCHEIMER KERR WELLUPDATE and Scheimer attorneys are in negotiations on a lease agreement. Discussion was held with Council and Fair Board Manager. Jim on the open container of alcoholic beverages in Councilman Pelton discussed the possible 99-year lease for the Scheimer Kerr Well the' Town's Water Attorney Hydro Resources is scheduling ai timet toj pull the Scheimer well and get a video oft the internal fixtures ofthe Town Superintendent Crum stated that the: state inspectors came down. The Town willl be written up on backflow reports for the firehouse, Eastern Col Bank and Cheyenne Manor. As he didn't get their reports on file. The State will give Hydro Resources pump. The estimated quote on this is $6100. Water State Inspection and Samples us 120 days to correct this. The monthly water samples came back fine. SOME GIRLS& Al MURAL: ENTRANCES SIGNS DESIGN The Council reviewed the updated draft of the welcome sign. Mary Weed has offered funds towards paint for this project. Councilman Hyle and' Taegen Eiring are. looking at xeriscape options at these locations for Mr. Eiring's Boy Scout project. EIAF #9808' TCW HOUSING ENGINEER GRANT The Council reviewed their award letter: for the WRD Engineering grant int the amount of $41,643.
